Students, faculty and guests used social media to send out updates, photos and selfies with #WCconnect on Saturday, March 21– sending out the signal about the importance of professional networking.  The March session of the Business and Economic Department’s Professional Networking Symposium featured a special panel on Broadcast Communications and Media.

We want to give a big thank you to our guests!!!  They offered some fantastic advice to our students. We appreciate their time and how candid they were with experiences with internships and more!

Panelist included Ohio Valley Hospital’s communication and marketing director Megan Eaton.  She is a former broadcast journalist with Time-Warner from Albany with a graduate degree from Syracuse.  Eaton volunteered to share her experience about internships and moving from college to the real world.
