1974 grad shares ESPN expertise with students, faculty & staff (VIDEO)

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.– ESPN Event Operations Vice President Bob Braunlich is an expert in managing live television coverage for everything from college football to the Olympics.  He’s also a Westminster graduate.

The 1974 alumnus returned to campus in October to spend time with Broadcast and Digital Communication students.  He shared experience, wisdowm and input with faculty and staff.  He even worked with WCN’s remote televisoin crew on Saturday’s home football game.

Braunlich shares insight on what he does as an ESPN V.P.   He chatted with WCN 24/7’s Brad Kolesar and also offered advice he has for students and recent graduates headed into the world of sports broadcasting.

Braunlich has a deep history with the Westminster football team.  He was part of the team under Hall of Fame Titan head football coach Joe Fusco.  Baunlich tells us he helped manage the team.
