The Unfortunate History of the AMC Pacer honored by the BEA

BEA Festival of Media Arts

The Broadcast Education Association (the BEA is a subset of the National Association of Broadcasters) has revealed the winners of the 2014 Festival of Media Arts where thousands of students competed with media productions.

The judges have awarded Westminster College’s Joe Ligo with special recognition for his long video documentary “The Unfortunate History of the AMC Pacer.”

Ligo’s project received special recognition for EXCELLENCE IN CINEMATOGRAPHY in the student documentary competition.

Congratulations to Joe Ligo, who is now an assistant producer at Cornerstone Television in Pittsburgh.
